Gathering at Camelot

The original gatherings at Camelot, were hunting parties held by Edward Neeper. Rumor has it that they would all go face first in the pond (which was removed by the forest service in the late 60s) to sober up before going to work Monday morning.

The next get together happened in the early 2000s with an annual Crystal Park tea. This was held for the residents in the surrounding area. There was live music and about 80 guests who would either drive or hike in. Some years, the Crystal Park volunteer fire department would run valet for the guests. One year, setting up the tables, a bear came down to visit.

Other happenings that have been hosted at Camelot since include: outdoor theater, and a wedding.
